Free pro-breastfeeding posters

The traditional media images of a breastfeeding woman are too often limited: the baby is a newborn; the mother is on her couch, in a nightgown; and the picture is framed in a fuzzy pink haze. We wanted to show a different reality: a mother who nurses for a long time, who nurses in public, and who nurses while staying feminine and stylish.

So we photographed our model and her baby (at 9 and 12 months old) while nursing at four different moments of their day: on a bench at a public market, at the airport, in the park, and during an elegant cocktail party.

We’re going to continue the series with other moments: dinner in a restaurant, a hike in the mountains, an afternoon at the beach, travelling on a train, shopping at the supermarket, etc. Your ideas are welcome!

We offer these posters free to nonprofit breastfeeding-support organisations, midwife’s offices, doctor’s offices, maternity wards, community health centers, daypcare centers, etc. If you would like to promote long-term breastfeeding and public breastfeeding (and help us spread the word), please don’t hestitate to ask us for one or even several sets of posters.
